Published by Transworld Art, Inc., New York. From An American Portrait, 1776 - 1976. A very good impression with vibrant colors.
This very scarce, working proof includes Bearden's pencil notations throughout the image, indicating certain areas where he intended to lighten or otherwise change the colors in the final impression. Gelburd/Rosenberg GG#55A.
