      36x23 3/4 inches, 91x60 1/2 cm. Tel Aviv.
      Condition B+: creases and tears along vertical and horizontal folds. Paper. Matted and framed.
      Founded in 1937, when Palestine was still under British mandate, Palestine Air was the second oldest carrier in the Middle East. Her initial fleet consisted of only two aircraft, each a Short S.16 Scion 2, one of which is depicted here. The company ceased operations in 1940 and its planes were taken over by the Royal Airforce.
