      Does Chef Find the Pheasant Pleasant? An unpublished image featuring a nervous sous chef presenting his masterpiece to the head chef. Watercolor and ink on paper adhered to board. 616x463 mm; 24 1/4x18 1/4 inches. Signed "Bemelmans" in image. Paper age-toned, few abrasions, small dampstains. Sold at Hammer Galleries in the 1960s. Nd, circa 1950s.
