TWA put its first Lockheed Constellation into service in 1945 and the aircraft took its first commercial transatlantic journey for the company in early 1946. By 1950, magazine ads for the airline were already telling prospective travelers "don't look for just one reason why more than a million passengers a year fly TWA" (Life, March 27, 1950, p. 17). This is the Italian version.
