      40 1/2x24 1/2 inches, 108x62 1/4 cm.
      Condition A-: minor repaired tears and restoration at edges; minor creases and restoration in image.
      Soltesz, who was a commercial illustrator in the 1940s and 50s, designed several posters and magazine ads for TWA in the 1950s. He also designed covers for maps issued by the Standard Oil Company (Esso), pulp magazine covers and other advertisements for the Saturday Evening Post. One of several different variations, as the top has been left blank for additional text. "TWA's Lockheed Super Connie was easy to identify with its dipped nose, triple tail, and elegant elongated fuselage" (Fly Now p. 133). Fly Now p. 133 (var).
