Poeticon Astronomicon. 47 half-page woodcuts of constellations, zodiac figures, and allegorical depictions of planets; woodcut white-on-black decorated initials throughout. [58] leaves, including initial blank. Gothic type, with title on a2r printed in red. 4to, 201x152 mm, old vellum boards, worn, front hinge split; occasional marginal soiling, dark stains on b1r and scattered mostly minor stains elsewhere, early hand-drawn zodiac diagram on recto of initial blank and numerous partly cropped early marginalia in text, dampstaining in lower inner corners of approximately the last 15 leaves, front free endpaper lacking, bookplate removed.
