Greatly expanded second edition of a treatise on the Seven Archangels originally published as a pamphlet in 1699 in Mexico. Pages xcii-cli reprint the text of Serrano's 1705 Breve Noticia del Nuevo Descubrimiento de las Islas Pais, o Palaos, the first book on the Palau Islands, based on information supplied to the missionary Paul Klein by islanders shipwrecked in the Philippines. Klein drew the first map of the region, also reprinted here. At the end of the book are prayers to the Archangels in Tagalog.
