      CHARLES LOUPOT (1892-1962) FÊTES DE PARIS. 1935.
      39x24 inches, 99x61 cm.
      Condition A-: minor restoration at edges; repaired tear at bottom edge; creases in lower text; repaired pin holes in corners.
      A ship (the symbol of the city of Paris) within medieval walls surrounded by a large crowd. One of the most creative touches here is his use of metallic gold ink. A.M.Cassandre, Paul Colin and Jean Carlu also designed posters for the 1935 Fêtes de Paris celebrations. This is the smaller format. Loupot 93, Loupot / Musee de l'Affiche 54, Reina Sofia p. 128.
