      RAFAEL TUFIÑO (1922-2008) FERIA DEL LIBRO.
      26 3/4x19 inches, 68x48 1/4 cm.
      Condition A-: foxing in margins and image. Paper.
      Tufiño was born in Brooklyn, New York to Puerto Rican parents. His family moved permanently back to the Island in 1932. He worked with DIVEDCO from its formation in 1950, and was head of its graphic arts department from 1957-1963. He was known as the "Painter of the People," because both his paintings and posters depict traditional aspects of Puerto Rican life.
