      The life of Augustinian ascetic St. Thomas of Villanova (1488-1555), Archbishop of Valencia, for whom Villanova University was named. He is named as a saint on the title page, a year in advance of his actual canonization. The author was an Augustinian friar from Puebla. Medina, Mexico II:842; Palau 97857 (calls for 9 preliminary leaves). None others traced at auction.
