      (BIBLE IN ENGLISH.) The Holy Bible, Conteyning the Old Testament, and the New. General and NT titles within woodcut historiated border depicting the Tribes of Israel, the Evangelists, and the Apostles. [508] leaves. Mostly printed in black letter. Folio, 404x266 mm, 17th-century panelled calf over wooden boards, lacking catches and clasps, rebacked, endpapers renewed; light to moderate marginal soiling, narrow dark stain in gutter of preliminaries, scattered light stains elsewhere, title soiled and creased with restoration along bottom edge, small rust hole in preliminary A3 affecting a few letters, blank upper outer corner restored on first leaf of Genesis, 2 lines of text rubbed at bottom of K6r, small holes in blank areas of Z1 and 3K5, repair in blank lower margins of 2U3-4 and 4H1, clean tear in 3L6, 3V1-2 remargined and possibly supplied, conspicuous stain in outer margin of 4M2-5, last leaf stained and mounted with repaired hole through a couple of words, despite the flaws still a more attractive copy than usual overall.
