26 1/2x19 3/4 inches, 67 1/4x50 1/4 cm.
Condition A- / B+: slight discoloration at edges; minor crackling on surface and slight flaking at edges; light horizontal creases in image. Painted on wrapped canvas. Framed.
This painting was the cover image for The GE Monogram in January of 1924. Walter Greene was a GE employee for 37 years, eventually heading its Art Department in 1903. He was asked to paint a series for the GE calendars, and also designed calendar backs and posters for the New York Central Lines railroad.
