Together, 2 issues with a total of 19 plates, comprising 4 photogravures after works by Stieglitz and 5 after works by Julia Margaret Cameron in No. 41; and one each after works by Steichen and Brigman, and 7 reproductions after Abraham Walkowitz's paintings in No. 44. 4tos, original printed gray wrappers, chipped and torn; lower portion of backstrip chipped and torn on No. 41.

      The issues are originally from the Collection of Stieglitz's brother, Julius Stieglitz (1867-1937), a noted Chicago chemist and esteemed long-term faculty member at the University of Chicago. They were acquired from Hanzel Gallery, Chicago, Illinois in the late 1960s-early 1970s.
