DUMMER, H. BOYLSTON. Santa Claus Aeroplane Book. 2 versions. First is 8 typed pages, each with 2 watercolor illustrations on paper. 279x114 mm; 11x4 1/2 inches, stapled watercolored boards in shape of airplane wings, signed by Dummer with his address on cover, fully illustrated inside covers (which serve as endpapers), signed at front, covers a bit soiled, staples rusted with contents becoming loose * Second version is smaller, 9 pages of typed text with watercolor illustrations and endpapers as above. 228x60 mm; 9x2 3/8 inches, stapled. In shape of airplane wings that fit into a watercolored board airplane piloted by Santa Claus, with title and "Merry Christmas" on both sides, 4 1/2x10 3/4 inches, 1-inch tip of tail repaired (possibly replaced at an early date). New York; Rockport, Cape Ann, circa 1925
