The deluxe edition of 11 lettered sets with 13 color lithographs (the regular edition of 90 consists of 12 color lithographs); this is the publisher's own set. Each of the color lithographs signed, annotated and inscribed "G/8" in pencil, lower margin. Lettered "G" in ink, on the justification page. Ex-collection the publisher, Kurt Wolff, Pantheon Books, thence by descent to the current owner. Printed by Albert Carman, City Island, New York. Published by Pantheon Books Inc., New York.
