Group of nineteenth-century marine and landscape watercolor drawings by a Royal Navy officer, possibly Henry Ambrose Scrivener. 12 watercolor sketches on heavy rag paper and one hand drawn map. The largest 9 3/4x14 3/4 inches; monogrammed, captioned and dated at lower edges; mounted to larger album leaves with secondary captions, mount edges with some chipping, map with a large closed tear. The map follows the route of H.M.S. Harrier from Portsmouth to Rio de Janeiro, 1860-1861.
