(MANUSCRIPT.) Illuminated Book of Hours in Latin on vellum, written in gothic hand in brown ink with headings and rubrics in red, 14 lines. With 3 historiated initials, 12 miniatures within full floral borders, decorated initials of 1-4 lines and line fillers throughout, and floral panel in outer margin of pages with 2-line initials, all in colors and gold. 204 (of 207) leaves; lacks leaves 61, 69, and blank 181. 130x92 mm, 17th-century morocco gilt, worn, bottom of rear joint cracked; margins trimmed entering top of some borders, occasional soiling, miniature at beginning of None on 81v heavily rubbed at bottom of image, 2 vellum leaves bound in front with prayers in French and Latin in contemporary hand; 1/4 morocco folding case. Armorial stamps of Charles de Brosses(?); slip mounted on front pastedown inscribed "donné à M. Rogier le 26 Mars 1836"; 19th-century signature of J. Gilchrist Clark. France, mid-15th century
