A cool album with 47 photographs recording the varied inventory of automobiles available for prop use in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer movie productions.
Including images of vehicles such as the 1899 DeDion Buton Roadster (right hand drive), 1953 U.S. Army Willy's Jeep, 1937 Cadillac Hearse, 1946 DeSoto New York Taxicab, 1928 Double-Decker London Bus, and 1950 Harley Davidson Tricycle, among other autos, all apparently photographed on the MGM lots. Chromogenic prints, the images measuring 3 1/2x4 1/2 inches (8.9x11.4 cm.), stapled, recto only, to yellow pages, with typed captions, storage locations, and page numbers. Small 4to, cloth-covered boards with the M-G-M Trans. Dept credit printed on the spine; 3-ring binding; complete, with a typed 2-page index. Late 1950s
