Large Hardouyn centaur device on title and last page; Anatomical Man on title verso, with almanac for 1508-20 on facing page; 20 full-page illustrations, mostly of Gospel scenes; numerous small illustrations of saints and miscellaneous subjects; each text page within varying historiated border. One- and two-line initials in gold on blue or red ground throughout. [92] leaves. Bâtarde type. printed on vellum. with heavy hand-coloring on the full-page illustrations, the printer's devices, many of the small illustrations, and on the borders of the first 10 leaves and last leaf. 4to, 227x145 mm, late 18th-/early 19th-century tan calf gilt, spine faded and worn, front cover detached; occasional marginal soiling, last 2 words on the fourth line of the colophon and the entire 3 lines below that obliterated. Contemporary owner's motto and arms painted in colors and gold on vellum leaves at beginning and end; early 19th-century booklabel of Bettison's of Cheltenham & Leamington; 19th-century armorial bookplate of George Folliot.
