The Dutch were pioneers in global design, more so than other countries, when it came to packaging. Unlike in France, in Holland, Cassandre's poster for Philips Radio was turned into a package for the product (see Swann sale 2113 Lot 137). This design by Zwart, for a tin of wood and furniture cleaner, is another excellent example of Dutch product marketing.
