Condition B: loss in lower left corner; staining in lower image and edges; abrasions and sharp crease in image; small holes in upper image. Painted on thick paper. A study for Lepape's poster for a Red Cross sponsored gala. Although only a segment of the final image, we do notice that for the printed version the mustachioed man ultimately was given a slimmer physique and the typography is different.
