Autograph Letter Signed, to Continental Congress member Jacob Read, promising to send buckles, stating that he has sent a copy of Charles Rollin's Roman History to Princeton, where James Bond Read [his brother] can go to read the book. 1 page, 4to, with integral address leaf; loss from seal tear at left edge affecting few letters of text, small hole at upper left, faint scattered staining, folds, addressed in his hand.
