Condition B+: minor water staining and tears from frame nails at top edge; flaking and cracking at edges. Hand-signed and inscribed by the artist in lower right corner. Painted on board. Sebille revisited this image of the Normandie frequently, painting the subject most likely as a gift for first class passengers. Two other smaller versions of this image have appeared at auction. Inscription reads: "Amicalement à DeCamp Statler de la maison F.A. Mac Cluer Inc."
