Additional Details

An order for the Viceroy of New Spain, Diego Fernández de Córdoba, Marquis of Guadalcázar, to resume collection of the King's 2/9 share of the tithe from the churches after a moratorium. The recent outbreak of the Thirty Years' War was likely the motivation. The order specifically mentions the bishops of Tlaxcala and Michoacán.
