Additional Details

fine copy of one of the great works by collaborators lepape and poiret. One of 700 unnumbered copies after the numbered edition of 300. Considered the father of modern fashion, Poiret shunned the confines of corsets and stormed the Paris fashion scene with unconstructed dresses in bold colors. Lepape and Paul Iribe, already well-known, hit their stride by collaborating with Poiret on advertising, package design, and fashion illustration. Colas 1837; Monod 9205.
