Illuminated Book of Hours in Dutch on vellum, written in gothic hand in brown ink with headings and rubrics in red, 21 lines. 4 (of 5) 9-line divisional decorated initials and three-quarter floral borders in gold and colors; partial floral decoration in margins of pages beginning individual Hours or prayers; decorated gold initials of 1-4 lines and ruling in red throughout. 131 (of 132) leaves; lacks leaf 69. 179x121 mm, 18th-century gilt-panelled sheep, spine ends and cover corners worn, short crack at top of front joint, recased, endpapers renewed; occasional minor marginal soiling, dampstaining in gutter of last several leaves and on rear endpapers. 18th-century armorial bookplate of Count Giuseppe de Cardenas.
