Chromogenic prints, the images measuring approximately 6x4 inches, 15.2x10.2 cm., and the reverse, nearly all with notations and dates, in ink, on verso, sleeved recto/verso. Tall 4to, burgundy boards; 3-ring binding. 1997-98.
Following the exuberant marchers down Fifth Avenue to the Greenwich Village and ending at The Stonewall Inn, the photographs document a pre-sponsorship parade, rife with a strong sense of community and endless freedom of expression. Mostly portraying a diverse array of individuals posing, laughing, dancing, and showing off their dazzling attire, with a few depicting important members of the downtown scene.
