      (HAWAIIAN IMPRINT -- CHILDREN'S GEOGRAPHY.) He Mau Palapala Aina A Me Na Niele No Ka Hoikehonua. No Na Kamalii. 8 engraved maps with original hand-coloring in outline, 16 pages (including letterpress title-page). 12mo format, 5 1/2x4 1/2 inches, printed paper wraps with only minor wear; light foxing, vertical discoloration from binding adhesive to double-page Hawaii map.       A magnificent survival of an early Hawaiian language school geography with maps of the two hemispheres, Hawaii, North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa followed by brief text and geographical questions for the students. The engraving is by George Luther Kapeau, a prolific student at Lahainaluna Seminary who would later become a statesman and governor of Hawaii.
