This small campaign flier, hardly larger than a bookmark, features a portrait based on C.M. German's photograph of Lincoln, with a smaller inset of a rail splitter below. The "Home for the Homeless" slogan refers to a Republican platform plank regarding homesteading. Holzer, Boritt & Neely, Changing the Lincoln Image, pages 34-35.
