      (BIBLE IN CZECH.) Biblij Czeska. 2 full-page woodcuts of the Crucifixion and Joshua, half-page depiction of the Garden of Eden, 112 column-width text illustrations, and woodcut historiated border on first page of Matthew. [4] (of [6]), 401, [4], 105, [5] (of [6]) leaves, including blank Xx6, with preliminaries bound out of order; lacks the title, next leaf with woodcut border on recto incorporating illustration of St. Jerome and lion, and last leaf of table of Gospel and Epistle readings at end. Folio, 295x205 mm, contemporary blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards, rebacked in the 18th(?) century with bottom of spine restored, worn overall, missing catches and clasps; contents soiled with occasional toning or browning, marginal dampstaining in lower outer corners throughout and in outer margins at beginning and end, scattered other stains and traces of mold, crude marginal restoration on first 10 leaves causing varying text loss and on last 4 leaves minimally affecting text, full-page Crucifixion woodcut heavily soiled with clean paper crack along right side of image, repaired tear on Rr6 affecting one word on recto, small piece torn from blank lower margin of AA5, late 18th-/early 19th-century inscriptions on pastedowns.
