      CHAPMAN, MARIA WESTON. Right and Wrong in Massachusetts. 12mo, original pictorially blind-stamped moire cloth with a large image of a kneeling slave on the rear cover, with the caption "Deliver Me." Boston: Dow & Jackson's Anti-Slavery Press, 1839

      first edition. In an uncommon pictorially stamped binding. Normally encountered in wrappers or regular cloth, the image on the rear cover is highly reminiscent of the engraving by African-American artist Patrick Reason found in The Fountain (New York, 1836).
