      Gifted by Dorothea Lange to Alan Temko; by descent to Susannah Temko. Alan Temko was a Pulitzer Prize-winning architecture critic and public intellectual. He and Lange both lived in Berkeley, California in the 1950s and 60s, when this gift was made.
