      Der Kuss.

      Etching, open-bite, drypoint and burnisher printed in dark brownish black on cream wove paper, 1895. 340x276 mm; 13 3/8x10 7/8 inches, full margins. Signed in pencil, lower right, and signed by the printer, Felsing, in pencil, lower left. A superb impression of this extremely scarce etching, with all the fine details and with the burnishing in the torsos and in the window behind them distinct.

      Woll notes approximately 20 impressions in public colelctions in Europe and the United States. We have found only 6 impressions at auction in the past 25 years. Schiefler 22; Woll 23.
