      EDWARD S. CURTIS (1868-1952)
      A suite of 18 cyanotypes, with images from the Kwakiutl, Cheyenne, Cowichan, and Flathead, including portraits, a study of baskets, and photographs made en plein air, many of which are related to or variants of published images. Cyanotypes, the images measuring approximately 8x6 inches (20.3x15.2 cm.), and the reverse, all but one with Curtis' caption or the tribe, in ink, each with at least one numeric notation, in ink or in grease pencil (some in Curtis' hand), and five with additional caption information or numeric notations (some in Curtis' hand), in pencil or in ink, on verso. Circa 1910-14
