Silver print, the image measuring 9 1/2x7 1/2 inches (24.1x19.1 cm.), the sheet slightly larger, the mount 14x11 inches (35.6x27.9 cm.), with the notation 895 - ONE MATISSE, in the negative, and with Steichen's 80 West 40th Street and copyright hand stamp and a later title, date, and numeric notation, in pencil, in an unknown hand, on mount verso. 1930
