      Flapper Filosofy. Group of 10 cartoons for King Features Syndicate, circa 1930. Pen, ink, and some graphite and wash, on stiff paper. Average size 165x90 mm; 6 1/2x3 inches. Signed, sometimes dated, and most with King Features Syndicate Inc. labels in lower margins.

      A cute group of cards featuring the "good girl flapper," created by Faith Swank Burrows, a staff cartoonist for King Features Syndicate, Inc., Great Britain and New York, as well as O'Dell Newspaper Service. Her other Jazz Age characters included Ritzy Rosalie, Beautyettes, and Glamourettes.
