Autograph Letter Signed, "EdvardGrieg," to French pianist Louis Diémer ("Dear Master"), in French, recommending Norwegian piano manufacturer Thor Hals, referring Diémer to a Paris exhibition of their pianos, and hoping he would ensure that their instruments receive the proper reception. 2 pages, 8vo, written on the first and third pages of a folded sheet; owner's ink stamp at upper left of first page ("Autograph Collection of Dr. Max Thorek, Chicago"), masking tape along upper edge and in margins of both pages touching paraph of signature and few letters of text, horizontal fold.
