      23 1/4x15 3/4 inches, 59x40 cm. [H. Chachoin, Paris.]
Condition A: very slight darkening at edges; faint offsetting below text. Paper.
One year before the watershed exhibition of Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, from which the Art Deco movement took its name, the Art Deco style was thriving in the work of Jean Dupas. Not only a posterist, Dupas also designed the interior for the Grand Salon on the Normandie, one of the great ocean liners of the 1930s and an icon of the Art Deco era. This is the smaller format, without additional text. Timeless Images 122, Frantz p. 112 (var).
