      Oil on panel, 1938. 460x375 mm; 18x14 7/8 inches, full margins. Signed, inscribed "Rome" and dated in oil, lower right.

      Provenance: Ex-collection Dr. Gloria and Frank Johnson, Washington, DC; private Maryland collection.

      Before her return to the U.S, after receiving an extension of her fellowship, Jones visited Rome, Venice and Milan.
