The Artist's Mother Seated, in an Oriental Headdress: Half Length.
Etching, 1631. 137x126 mm; 5 1/2x5 inches. Biörklund's third state (of 3); Usticke's second state (of 4), before the heavy rework; White and Boon's third state (of 3). Foolscap with a 5-pointed collar watermark. A good impression of this scarce, early etching with crisp plate edges. Trimmed on or just inside the plate mark.
