      Galli, a lifelong resident of Northern California, was a painter, illustrator and printmaker. Although a member of the New York and California Society of Illustrators, and the designer of numerous wildlife conservation stamps for the United States Postal Service in the 1960s and 70s, he is best remembered for the series of posters he designed for United Airlines in the 1950s and 60s.
