The first four of these documents are endorsed with the signature of Peter Traille, Major of the Royal Artillery. They include a requisition for supplies by Hessian Major von Wurmb, with attached receipt for "the under mentioned materials for making ball cartridges," 27 April 1780 Order to provide Captain Geyer with "twenty five stand of arms with accoutrements & ammunition for the same, for the use of the Charlestown militia," with detailed receipt for the same on verso, 2 November 1780 Order to provide Lieutenant Andrew Law with arms "for the defence of the sloop Nancy, with detailed receipt appended, 8 November 1780 Order to provide Captain Archibald Brown with 75 stand of arms, with detailed receipt on verso, 23 November 1780 Receipt for 26 muskets, 20 repairable cartouche boxes, and 2 pouches, 12 November 1782.
