Gansevoort orders his colonel to remove from the Saratoga frontier area "all such persons & families who . . . you, with the advice of your field officers, . . . may deem to be dangerous & disaffected . . . from their respective habitations to the interior parts of this state, without the least delay." with--the manuscript enclosure, "Extract of the Law Entitled An Act to Accommodate the Inhabitants of the Frontiers with Habitations." One page, 13 1/4 x 8 1/2 inches, with docketing on verso; only minor wear.
