A Dutch New Testament and psalter owned by a leading member of the Dutch-American community in New York's Hudson Valley. Owner Andries De Witt (1727-1799) was a physician in New Paltz, and the father of Simeon De Witt, Surveyor General of the Continental Army. This edition of the New Testament not in Darlow & Moule, and only 4 listed in OCLC.
