Pinback badge with relief portrait of "Founder of the Independent Order of St. Luke 1867, Mary Prout." 1¼ inches in diameter. On verso, reads "The possessor of this badge is a commissioned officer of the R.W.G. Council of the I.O. of St. Luke." Mary Prout (1800-1884) founded the benevolent society where Maggie Walker later launched her career.

Pinback button, "I.O. of St. Luke, R.W.G. Council, Richmond, Va.: Our Inspiration, Maggie L. Walker," in red and blue on white and featuring her portrait. 1¾ inches in diameter, on a 16-inch length of yarn; minor wear on verso.

Featuring a first page portrait of Walker, "dedicated to Maggie L. Walker and all pioneer workers," with a short poem by Mary Taylor Carter titled "Maggie Walker as I Knew Her."
