Additional Details

The twin-screw ship began her life as the "Kaiserin Auguste Victoria" when she was launched for the Hamburg-American Line in 1905. At the time of her launch she was the largest ship in the world. She was taken from Germany after World War I and then served briefly with Cunard before joining the Canadian Pacific fleet in 1921. She was scrapped in 1931.
