a very rare piece of music, dedicated to the white league's robert harden marr. Marr (1819-1897) was a lawyer and leader of the White League at the time of the Battle of Liberty Place. This minor insurrection was brought on by the election riots and was put down by Federal Troops. Marr later served on the Louisiana Supreme Court.
