The group includes an albumen copy of an engraving of Jefferson Davis, a copy print of a portait of young Robert E. Lee, a silver print of young Colonel Henry Kyd Douglas, a watercolored montage of a uniformed soldier with a photograph of his visage glued on, a portrait of Dr. Amory Coffin accompanied by his calling card, two portraits of Sargent Conrad Wise Chapman, an oval portrait of John Yates Beall, and portraits of the ironically named Captain A. Hero, Jr., General Jubal Early, J. E. B. Stuart, and a proud young soldier with his saber and pistol.<
