Additional Details

A rogue's gallery of social outcasts whose nefarious activities included pickpocketing, burglary, sneak thieving, express robbing, forgery, murder, and grifting. The pictures are made all the more interesting by the use of hand-tinting, which imparts a healthy, rosy-cheeked appearance to these shifty characters. According to a photostatic copy of a local newspaper article about the photographs, they were removed from an album that originally contained tintypes of the Younger brothers.<
