Additional Details

The triple-screw "Carmania" was the first Cunard ship to be fitted with steam turbines. During the First World War she was outfitted as an armed merchant cruiser and actually sank the Hamburg-South American Line's "Cap Trafalgar" in 1914. She was scrapped in 1932.
